A long Waitangi Day weekend produced a fantastic bit of summer weather with a family ride along the Hogs Back Track with the Maddigans on Waitangi Day itself, followed by a decent day tramp the next day up to Temple Basin in Arthurs Pass.
The last leg of our Europe trip was staying with friends near London giving us the opportunity to do a few “big city” activities, including the Natural History Museum, banks and bridges along the Thames, Windsor Castle etc.
